It was just a nice choice for a weekend adventure in Scunthorpe with great value. The bar had been updated nicely, really enjoyed the ambience while having a beer. Try to be aware of noise from parties if you're planning to stay on weekends.

centrally located for city strolls and beautiful park views
The hotel is just a short walk from Central Park and the North Lincolnshire Museum, making it ideal for exploring on foot and enjoying the local scenery. while the hotel itself could use some updates, the staff were friendly and did their best to help despite being short-staffed, which I appreciated during my two-night stay.

The room was pretty decent, a good size but the bathroom was on the small side. Everything was super clean, which is always a plus. The bed was comfy, so I actually slept well. A few minor repairs might help, but overall, it was fine for a short stay.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The exceptional Sunday roast made dining truly enjoyable, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. With convenient access to the town center just a short walk away, exploring local pubs added to the experience. the parking area could benefit from clearer signage, and the absence of an elevator may pose challenges for those with mobility issues. A few minor updates to decor would enhance the overall ambiance.
